Once upon a time...
Hatton’s Estate Pre-Primary was started in 1986 by Chris and Paddy Beyers and was established in 1986 as Pink Panther Playcentre.
In the early days we catered primarily for the younger preschool child, and offered an Aftercare service to local Primary and Pre-Primary Schools. In 1990 we established our own Pre-Primary section and went from strength to strength.
The name of the school was changed to Hatton Estate Pre-Primary School in 1998, in keeping with the changing trends in the market. The new millennium brought more changes. Our first Grade R class was formed in 2001 and the Baby Group for the under two’s was re-established the following year. 2015 saw the establishment of a Toddler‘s Group called the Dragonflies, as well as a senior Grade R group.
